Ads revival continues, says Centaur Media

The bounceback in advertising seen in the first half of 2010 should last all year, according to Centaur Media, publisher of specialist trade magazines such as The Lawyer and Marketing Week.

Centaur today reported an 11% jump in advertising revenues in the six months to June, with recruitment ads surging 25% after a grim 2009.

The legal and financial sectors were among the strongest performers.

Centaur saw pre-tax profits rise 52% to £2.6 million in the year to June 30.

The company's full-year dividend jumps 13% to 1.7p.
