Rock holders step up shares battle

Anger: Northern Rock shareholders returned to court today

Angry shareholders in Northern Rock returned to court today to step up their fight for compensation following last year's nationalisation of the failed bank.

The shareholders, led by SRM Global and RAB Capital, claim the compensation scheme valued their shares at zero.

They are appealing at the High Court against a decision in the Government's favour.
