A love letter written by Amy Winehouse to her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is going under the hammer as part of a major auction of pop culture artefacts.

Boston auction house RR Auction are offering a number of significant items from pop culture icons, including this one-page note from Winehouse, who died in 2011 at the age of 27.

Winehouse wrote to Fielder-Civil, who she married in 2007 but later divorced in 2009, on January 12 but no year is given. She writes: “Do nothing ‘til you hear from me handsome, I need your arms around me so I can inhale, open my eyes, breathe my heart’s breathe out...Loved one you are my most precious poisonous possession, my most cherished boy, my darling husband.”

The letter is signed “Amy (Lioness)” and also features a drawing of a crocodile and a number of love hearts.
