Caper has gone to the dogs

10 April 2012

Black layabouts and petty criminals in west London turn scam artists to become DJs.

An obnoxious sub-Guy Ritchie caper entirely made up of foul language and loutish doings isn't helped by a sequence in which a Jack Russell terrier is buggered in a search for drugs and promptly drops dead of shock.

This is comedy? The most unwelcome surprise: its makers, Tiger Aspect Productions, are the folk who helped give us Billy Elliot. Don't give up the class act yet, fellows.
