Curry doesn't satisfy

In Vijay Singh's light-hearted comedy, made in English but set in Paris, streetsmart Sikh Nishan (Vikram Chatwal) dishes up one-dollar curries on the boulevards of the French capital, aided by his Indian fiancée (Smriti Mishra) and his French lover (Gabriella Wright).

He also sells an aphrodisiac called Kamasutra Nandi Bull Oil. Singh tries hard for a bit more wit than that displayed in your average Bollywood comedy and adds excellent music from Zakir Hussain and Taufiq Quereishi.

But the ingredients don't make a substantial meal; more a tasty hors d'oeuvre.
