Slice of nostalgia in Face Addict

When photographer Edo Bertoglio worked among new York's fashionably radical Downtown scene in the Seventies and Eighties, he met many of the glitterati of the period, such as Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

This feature has him returning to find things much changed.

"We were all egomaniacs and addicts. I think that's a bit of a problem in a way," says one of his former associates.

That neatly sums up this rather mournful but quite reverberant slice of nostalgia.
