Eerie: The Eye is the American version of a Japanese thriller

This is the American version of a very eerie Japanese supernatural thriller, which David Moreau and Xavier Palud all but destroy with a noisy effort that could disturb those affected by flash photography. It will not worry anyonefs brain cells much.

Jessica Alba is a renowned violinist who is blind, the result of a childhood accident. A transplant partially restores her sight but she is inexplicably haunted by bizarre images. Is she just plain insane, or the only one who can see a terrifying world? Hard as Alba, Parker Posey as her sister and Alessandro Nivola as her doctor try to convince, it is not easy to care.
