Jess Glynne cancels Sherwood Pines, Dalby Forest and all other UK tour dates until mid-July

Jess Glynne has cancelled all her live performances until mid-July, after being diagnosed with a haemorrhaged vocal cord.

It comes after the singer earned a life-time ban from the Isle of Wight festival after cancelling her show last minute.

Glynne said she was suffering with anxiety at the time, and the singer has now revealed that it came as the result of difficulties with her voice.

“I am going to have to cancel my next shows through until July 14 and I hope to be back as soon as possible after that,” Glynne wrote on Twitter.

“I know many of my fans feel I let them down so badly when I pulled out of the Isle of Wight Festival but the reason I knew I just wasn’t going to be able to make that performance has now been made clear to me by my doctor, Dr Zeitels.”

The singer also addressed the fact that she'd been partying with the Spice Girls the night before the Isle of Wight, stating that it didn’t have an impact on her decision to cancel the show.

She wrote: “It is true that I went out and celebrated the end of the Spice tour. That was a massive high for me and I wanted to mark it with the women who’d become friends and mentors to me. But I had also been suffering on and off for weeks with anxiety about my voice. It wasn’t right. I wasn’t sounding my best and I felt there was something wrong.”

After seeking advice from her surgeon, Glynne will now miss shows at Sherwood Pines (July 28), Dalby Forest (June 29), Cannock Chase Forest (July 5), The Wyldes (July 6), Stadiwn Zipworld (July 7), Kew Gardens (July 10), and TRNSMT festival (July 13 and 14).
