Old Vic Productions Plc Seeks New Investors To Share The Limelight With Kevin Spacey & Sir Elton John

Old Vic Productions is seeking new investors to help raise up to £2 million. Funds raised will enable the ten-year-old production company to build upon its success and expand its horizons by participating fully in two major new projects, namely Billy Elliot: The Musical and The Old Vic Theatre Company, under the artistic directorship of Kevin Spacey.

In collaboration with Working Title Films, Old Vic Productions is bringing Billy Elliot: The Musical to the stage. The production is being directed by Stephen Daldry, who also directed the film. The score has been composed by Sir Elton John and with lyrics by the film’s writer, Lee Hall.

Sir Elton says "Writing the music for Billy Elliot: The Musical has been an enormously satisfying and enjoyable process especially knowing the incredible talent of my creative partners Stephen Daldry and Lee Hall. To also be collaborating with Working Title and Old Vic Productions to bring this project to the stage gives me the confidence to believe that this wonderful show will have the success it deserves."

Kevin Spacey’s appointment as Artistic Director of The Old Vic Theatre Company brings his talents as a leading international actor, director and producer to the theatre and Old Vic Productions aims to take a significant stake in future productions of The Old Vic Theatre Company.

Chief Executive, Sally Greene says "Kevin Spacey is easily one of the most extraordinary actors of our generation. It is a wonderful testament to British theatre and The Old Vic that he has chosen to take on the direction of a new resident production company at The Old Vic. His energy and enthusiasm for The Old Vic is intoxicating!"

In addition to the potential financial benefits of buying shares in Old Vic Productions, investors will be buying into the lifestyle of one of London's most exciting and glamorous theatrical circles. A key trademark of Chief Executive, Sally Greene is her ability to throw the best parties in town for her investors and colleagues.

There are four levels of investment starting at £4,000 (£3,000 for existing shareholders), stepping up to £10,000 (£7,500 for existing shareholders), £20,000 and finally £50,000, with each level offering greater access to the star studded world of Old Vic Productions.

Benefits include complimentary tickets to first nights and special preview performances, a range of cultural activities, behind the scenes events and priority booking for star-studded Old Vic Trust Gala events, which include concerts, film premieres and parties.

An investment of £50,000 brings with it two tickets to Elton John's exclusive Oscar Party in Hollywood, an invitation to The Old Vic's star-studded Christmas party and an invitation to the annual celebrity lunch in New York. For further information or a copy of the prospectus call 020 7401 3534.
