A stage invader has crashed the second semi-final of Britain's Got Talent pressing three out of four judge's buzzers.
The man appeared to run from the audience after a performance by illusionists Magus Utopia during Tuesday night’s live show.
He then ran along the front of the judge’s table and pressed three out of four red buzzers as they gave feedback to the group.
Amanda Holden and co-star Alesha Dixon appeared shocked, before Simon Cowell exclaimed that it was “one of those nights”.
Solo host Dec assured the act that those buzzers didn’t count before Cowell slammed down on his button as his verdict on the intruder.
A relieved Holden and Dixon returned to their seats as Cowell moved on with his feedback for the hopeful Dutch act.
Holden had originally been left terrified by the act, when one of the performers suddenly appeared behind her at the close of the routine.
Donnelly, hosting alone from London’s Hammersmith Apollo, joked about “another quiet night”, following last night’s weather-induced technical fault.
He said: “Apologies about our unwanted guest. Some people just can’t keep their hands off our buzzers!”
A spokesman for BGT: "A member of the audience ran up and pressed the judges’ buzzers at the end of Magus Utopia’s act. The man was quickly apprehended by security and removed from the building.”
A severe thunderstorm knocked transmission off air for around 15 minutes just after the first act, Cali Swing, had performed on Monday evening.
When broadcast finally resumed, Cowell joked that Ant McPartlin “didn’t have to do that” and that he would return next year.
