A Kate Middleton lookalike on First Dates left viewers divided during the royal-themed episode on Thursday evening.
The popular dating show, moved from its usual Wednesday slot, saw several singletons with royal connections sat down in Paternoster Chop House hoping to find the one.
Hopefuls included Abbie, a direct descendant from Henry VIII, a waiter with William and Charles as his middle names and Kit and Andrew, a couple who have both spend time mixing with actual Royals including the late Princess Diana of Wales.
But it was Jodie, from Chelmsford, who got viewers talking as they were left divided over whether or not she looked like The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
To camera, Jodie said: “I don’t normally tell people, 'Hi I’m Jodie, by the way I’m a Kate Middleton lookalike'. That’s not what I do.
“When she’s in the media, I’m in the media. You just compare yourself to her life and you think that’s totally different to my life. She’s settled with her husband, babies, and there’s just me on my own.”
Jodie’s date, football fanatic James, didn’t quite spot the resemblance and those watching the Channel 4 show weren’t quite sure either.

Posting on Twitter, one wrote: “Kate Middleton?!!! Shoulda gone to Specsavers!!! #FirstDates @Channel4 @FirstDates.”
While another said: “Love how it hasn’t occurred to her date at all like Jodie supposedly looks like Kate Middleton. #FirstDates.”
“You don’t look like Kate Middleton, you look like Sonia from Eastenders #firstdates,” chuckled somebody else.
But others were completely sold, with one saying: “This Kate Middleton lookalike on #firstdates very nice, very classy lady.”
“OMG, she is a spitting image of Kate! #FirstDates @FirstDates,” commented a different user.
First Dates is on Thursdays at 10pm on Channel 4.
