It’s safe to say that we’re more than a little jealous we didn’t get an invite to Mary Berry's Easter feast in which she displays every dish created in both episodes on one table.

The two-part show ends with a glimpse of Mary Berry’s ideal spread complete with roast lamb and pork, seasonal Easter cakes and chocolate treats.

The hostess whips up a “mammoth” lemon and pistachio roulade for the grand finale which she adorns with decorative flowers- an impressive showstopper worthy of the Bake Off tent.

Mary also takes a break from baking to talk about her love of travelling, discovering new recipes, and opens up about her faith to give us some personal insights into the Mary Berry that we all know and love.

The second episode also explores the ways recipes express cultural identity as Mary learns how the Greek Orthodox community celebrate the end of Lent with Tsoureki bread. She also discovers the joys of seasonal Fillipino and Italian recipes.

Although this mini-series has ended, we’re hoping we won’t have to wait too long before the hotly-anticipated series seven of the Great British Bake Off brings Mary Berry back on to our screens.
