You’ve got to have some respect for Rylan Clark-Neal – the former X Factor contestant made the leap from music hopeful to TV personality with ease, and now he’s got his own TV show.
Proving a dab hand at presenting Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, after appearing in the Celebrity edition of the reality series, Rylan’s now heading for a trickier feat – the chat show.
Will he be able to succeed where even original Big Brother presenter Davina McCall found trouble?
With each episode of Up Late With Rylan recorded on the night of transmission at the Hospital Club in London, fans will have to wait to see if he can make his name alongside the likes of Graham Norton and Alan Carr.
However, we do know that the first episode is set to feature guests including Alesha Dixon, Ferne McCann, Anthea Turner, and Keith Lemon, as well as Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby as the 'resident barmaid'.
Ahead of the show, Rylan channelled James Bond for a ‘From Rylan With Love’ photo shoot – complete with golden girls and a shiny silver Aston Martin – although he admitted he’s “more of a Dame Judi” than a classic Bond.
Talking up the new series he said: “We’re sort of an as-live show, we’re coming from the heart of London, it’s proper best of British.
