Stormzy has announced plans for a two-day #Merky pop-up, arriving in Soho on Thursday May 16.

The rapper is briefly opening his own newsagents, where fans will have the chance to meet him in person – though he'll only be behind the counter to serve the first 50 fans who swing by.

The pop-up, a publicity stunt to promote his partnership with energy drink Relentless, runs from 4.30-6.30pm at 52 Brewer Street on Thursday.

The event will also take place on Friday May 17, running from midday until 7pm.

Stormzy announced the news on Twitter.

Fans over the age of 16 will receive a free can of #Merky Relentless Origin, while other #Merky merchandise will also be available.

This year is already shaping up to be huge for Stormzy, with the rapper recently earning his first ever UK number one with new single Vossi Bop.

The Croydon-born star will also headline Glastonbury this summer, performing on the bill alongside the likes of The Cure, The Killers, Kylie Minogue, Janet Jackson and Liam Gallagher.
