What's in it? Peroni Nastro Azzurro, brandy, falernum, lemon, apple, sugar with a biscotti garnish.

Why should we try it? Because baby it’s cold outside! Nothing beats a winter warmer like an alcoholic one. Whilst spiking your coffee with some rum might do the trick, we’re more in to this bad boy because it’s deliciously sophisticated and light. It’s been created by Simone Carporalo (ex-Artesian) and he’s a genius when it comes to creating great tasting drinks. Beer and brandy go together like two school boys and falernum (almond/ginger syrup), lemon and apple will see off that lingering winter bug in no time. Served up hot just like a cup of tea with a side of biscotti.

Where do we get it? The Autumn House of Peroni Residency is back on Brick Lane and their residences just keep getting better and better. This Autumn/Winter it’s all about ‘life inside the Italian home’ and they've got Michelin-starred chefs on the food, origami light installations and multi-sensory surrealist sets dotted in the ‘rooms’ around the house that you need a secret key to unlock. Gingerline have brought interactive fun to the place so as soon as you enter you're transported to a very other and Italian world. All this washed down by Simone Carporale’s creative drinks. We say no more.
