This Meantime pub on Royal Hill is home to a lovingly-maintained selection of mostly German beers, with six beers on tap and more esoteric European options by the bottle.

In fact, the pub offers a selection of over 150 beers, which is more than enough to satisfy the area’s craft beer connoisseurs. The smart wooden interiors have proven stylish backdrop to many a drinking session since opening in 2001, and it’s been favourite amongst locals and tourists alike for years.

The drinking terrace outside is a popular spot to spend a summer’s evening, but it’s the fantastic beer selection that what brings punters back here time and again.
