Taste assessment: If you are a busy London breakfaster whose attempt at a healthy first meal is a smoothie on your way to work, only to be left starving by elevenses, Tossed promises a solution: Smuesli — a combination of fruity smoothie and filling muesli in one low-calorie cup. I tried Strawberry Start, made of fresh fruit, fat-free froyo and topped off with muesli. But, sadly, while it looked appetising and colourful, it lacked in the taste department. In fact, the strawberries were hardly discernible and the muesli was soggy, rather than crisp and crunchy. It’s a shame, but this is simply no way to start the day.
