Cocktails at Harvey Nichols

If the traditional rainfall is becoming insufferable there is always a slice of British summer available at the new Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor roof terrace bar from July 15.

The new cocktail menu was put together specially by the Fifth Floor’s bar manager Dominic Jacobs using only the Chase Distillery’s British spirits range. There will also be a menu of ‘tasting dishes’ available, specially designed to accompany your cocktail. The homely, country life feel to the Chase and Country Tails Terrace was inspired by the Herefordshire countryside where the Distillery is based. It looks an attractive setting for some serene relaxation in the sun, albeit a few floors from London’s city centre.

Although sunshine has been in short supply recently there are heaters and roof awnings available for those of us who are thirsty enough. The ‘Rhuberry Fool’ with rhubarb vodka, apples, raspberries and sparkling wine sounds particularly appealing alongside the ‘Marmalade marinated Gressingham duck breast’.
