London tops list of UK’s best takeaways — is your local in the top 10?

The number one spot is in Wimbledon, four other London takeaways make the top 10

Online ordering service Hungry House has revealed its annual list of the top 10 takeaways in the UK, and four London restaurants have made the top 10.

The big winner is Turkish restaurant and takeaway Ambience in Wimbledon which claims the top spot, out-cooking competitors in Leeds and Glasgow which take the next two spots.

Chinese restaurant group The Good Earth — with restaurants in Knightsbridge, Wandsworth, Esher and Mill Hill — came in at number four, followed by Chalk Farm pizza place Pesantissimo at number six, and sushi restaurant Saki in Queen’s Park which rounds the list off at number 10.

Restaurants from Milton Keynes, Brighton, Nottingham and Birmingham also made the cut. See the full list at hungryhouse.co.uk.
