Vrisaki Kebab House

This is a phenomenon. It's a very lively North London party place, small on the outside, cavernous on the inside, it serves Cypriot food to delighted and rowdy customers who would never think of choosing for themselves. They are all here for the Vrisaki meze, a multi-course affair that wends its way through an implausibly large number of dishes. It is lucky that careful ordering is the exception rather than the rule here, as such is the atmosphere that neither waiters nor punters can hear themselves think.
