Ellen DeGeneres buys Adam Levine’s house: the chatshow host bought the Maroon 5 singer's Beverly Hills home for £35m

The Maroon 5 frontman has made a killing – he paid just £26.7m for the property only a little over a year ago and had it on the market for just five weeks before it sold to the US comedian and talk show host.

Comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has snapped up Adam Levine’s home in Beverly Hills after it was on the market just five weeks.

DeGeneres forked out £35 million for the Maroon 5 frontman’s place.

Hats off to Levine who bought the property for £26.7 million from producer Max Mutchnick, co-creator of American TV sitcom Will & Grace.

That was only a little over a year ago, so Levine has made a fast, handsome profit.

It’s obviously a time of change for Levine. One of the original coaches on The Voice US, he quit the talent show last week after eight years.
