Celebs gather for Pavarotti's wedding

Celebrities from across the world are gathering in Italy today for Luciano Pavarotti's wedding to his former secretary.

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and musicians Sting, Sir Elton John and Bono will be among the 1,200 guests at tomorrow's ceremony in the opera star's home town of Modena.

At 33, long-term girlfriend Nicoletta Mantovani is half the age of the 67-year-old tenor. He divorced his wife of 35 years, Adua Veroni, this year.
