Clapton in surprise wedding

Eric Clapton has secretly married a woman less than half his age. The 56-year-old guitarist, wed Melia McEnery, 25, with whom he has a baby daughter, in a small ceremony near his Surrey home on New Year's Day.

The few guests believed they were attending the christening of six-month-old Julie Rose at a 15th-century church in Ripley. After the baptism service, however, the baby's parents were called up to the altar and exchanged vows.
