Eight die as train derails in storm

EIGHT people were killed and 54 injured today when a train was derailed during a rainstorm in Thailand.

Six of the 16 carriages jumped the tracks near the coastal resort city of Hua Hin and at least one of the dead passengers was crushed between the cars. All the victims were Thais.
