Elton's £34m Vegas deal

Sir Elton John looks set to follow in the footsteps of Canadian diva Celine Dion and star in his own show in Las Vegas.

He is poised to sign a £34million contract to appear at the Colosseum, the new venue built specially for Dion's shows at Caesar's Palace in Nevada's 'Sin City'.

His exclusive three-year deal would start next year. Gloria Estefan will perform at the Colosseum in October in the first extended run since Dion took to the stage in March.
