12 April 2012

Jubilee line passengers will be able to celebrate the Queen's 50 years on the throne as they wait for their trains.

Live performances will take place at a series of stops on the line on Monday 3 June, the day of the pop concert at Buckingham Palace.

The free performances will begin at 1pm at Westminster, Waterloo, Southwark, London Bridge, Bermondsey and North Greenwich stations with versions of The Beatles' All You Need Is Love.

Then, musicians from the capital's music colleges will play a selection of poplar and classical numbers until 4pm.
