Growth rate slows for bmi's baby

GROWTH at low fares airline bmibaby slowed to 13% last month, its parent company reported today.

But bmi, formerly British Midland, said the number of passengers across all its services was up by 9% in November at 768,341. Growth rates earlier this year were as much as 31%.

With load factors of 63%, bmibaby services are now much fuller than a year ago when they were flying, on average, half empty.
