J.Lo's army for Top Of The Pops

How many dressing rooms does it take to keep a diva happy? Jennifer Lopez has demanded at least 10 rooms for an appearance on Top Of The Pops, during which she will be accompanied by a 100-strong entourage.

Designers have been working around the clock for a month on outfits for the 31-year-old star and her 10 backing singers and musicians, at a cost of £50,000. TOTP producers are so keen for her to appear on the show, at the end of this month, that she will be arriving at the Manchester studios by private jet from Barcelona, where she will be staying beforehand.

A TOTP source said: "You don't get much more of a diva." Joking, he added: "When she gets to Manchester, we'll take her along the Union Canal ... with rose petals sprinkled in it, of course."
