Killer Vincent Tabak had 30 child porn images

Police have found up to 30 child porn images on the computer owned by the murderer of Joanna Yeates - but he is likely to escape prosecution.

Vincent Tabak, 33, is already known to have been obsessed with extreme porn of men strangling women and using internet prostitutes.

But now the Dutch engineer, who was jailed for a minimum of 20 years last week after being convicted of murder, is being investigated over the images of children found on his laptop, according to police sources.

The child porn falls into Category Four, the second most serious, which includes sexual activity between an adult and a child.

A police source said: "Following his conviction for murder I don't think the Crown Prosecution Service will prosecute. It just won't happen."
