Linford Christie and three others hurt in crash

Former Olympic sprint champion Linford Christie was taken to hospital after his Audi A8 was involved in a head-on collision with a mini-cab in Buckinghamshire.

Christie, 50, the 1992 100metres gold medallist, was treated by paramedics shortly before midnight. He was discharged from hospital after receiving treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle and two of his passengers remain in hospital after suffering broken bones in the collision.
