London's Most Wanted: Convicted killers on the run

This is the face of one of London's Most Wanted criminals who is suspected of having fled the UK to Amsterdam.

Convicted killer Brian Bradshaw, 67, has been on the run for seven years after walking out of a Category C prison in Kent in 2003.

He was serving an eight year sentence for manslaughter after stabbing to death the mother of his former lover in Rainham in Essex.

The name and picure, including his aliases, were released today in a new bid to hunt him down.

He is among six men whose details are being circulated in Holland by the Dutch police and posted on the Most Wanted section of the charity Crimestoppers website.

The new Crimestoppers appeal follows a series of successful campaigns by the charity to track down fugitives who were suspected of being on the run in Spain.

A total of 31 out of 51 individuals have so far been traced. One of them was found living in Johannesburg after someone spotted his face on the Internet.

Dave Cording, Crimestoppers' Director of Operations, said the Spanish appeals had driven some suspects out of hiding to alternative locations.

The charity work with the Serious Organised Crime Agency on targeting locations favoured by fugitives.

He said the Dutch city was a popular location for British criminals because of its relaxed drug laws, its position on the main heroin importation route into the UK and ease of access.

Mr Cording added: "We get a massive amount of information from the general public. Some people get recognised, others are encouraged to hand themselves in because the publicity is damaging a criminal network. We have had people who give themselves up immediately they see their pictures on the website."
