Northgate on road to beating targets

NORTHGATE, the white van rental firm, is seeking nearly 25% of the British market in three years. It is set to hit a year early its target of 50,000 vans for rent by 2004, and is seeking 60,000 by 2006. Pre-tax profits rose 15% to £36m for the year to April, it said today. The dividend rises 1p to 16p.
