Online errors for Welsh Tories

12 April 2012

William Hague is still the Tory leader - according to the Welsh Conservative Party. The party's official web site says its Cardiff headquarters is "the office in Wales of the Rt Hon William Hague MP, leader of the Conservative Party".

Writing on the web site Welsh party chairman Henri Lloyd Davies says: "The web site will be updated often so come back regularly for the most up to date information."

Mr Hague stood down after losing the General Election, making way for Iain Duncan Smith. But the change has not found its way on to the site at welshconservatives.com .It is not the first time the Welsh party has made a mistake involving Mr Hague.

When the former Welsh Secretary visited Wales to launch the party's Welsh General Election manifesto he was left without a document to unveil. The manifesto was pulled at the last-minute after mistakes were spotted in the Welsh translation.
