The members of the Freud salon are famously slavishly loyal to their dowager. They once even offered a member of the ES Magazine staff several grand to reschedule a party because they wanted to stage Freud's birthday party at the same venue, on the same night.
To increase your chances of infiltrating Freud's salon, you should... Try to secure immediate membership to that perennial media haunt, The Groucho Club (as if you don't have it already) - because Matthew Freud now owns it. Being able to boast third-generation intellectual dynasty DNA will also do your chances no harm. At the very least, you will need to be fantastically witty and clever and care as little as possible for trite matters such as hair and shoes.
