So Solid Crew rapper Harvey was found guilty today of assaulting a police officer as he tried to pull him over for using his mobile phone while driving.

The garage star and TV presenter - real name Michael Junior Harvey - appeared before magistrates in St Albans today charged in connection with the attack in Welwyn Garden City on January 17.

Harvey, 26, was found guilty of one charge of assaulting a police officer and one of a public order offence of using threatening words or behaviour.

Magistrate Peter Stanley adjourned sentencing for reports for one week but told the rapper: "We are considering imposing a community-based sentence."
