Stars pay tribute at premiere

Roger Moore led stars including Joan Collins, Sir Cliff Richard and Shirley Bassey in a tribute to the Queen Mother at a charity premiere of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Praising her love of the theatre and "terrific joie de vivre", the Bond star asked the audience to remember the Queen Mother on "a sad, sad day", but urged them to enjoy themselves "as she would want you to". He was joined on stage by Dame Vera Lynn, who had earlier attended the Queen Mother's funeral at Westminster Abbey.

Last night's London Palladium show was in aid of Unicef and cerebral palsy charity SOS.
