1. Food, especially fish, meat and dairy products. Bioaccumulative chemicals collect in oily and fatty foods.

2. Toiletries. Many creams, shampoos and bath foams contain phthalates.

3. DIY. Paint strippers and treated wood release pollutants. Wear a mask.

4. Mattresses. Most contain BFRs.

5. Synthetic carpets. That "new" smell is chemicals "off-gassing".

6. Foam. Most soft furnishings have been treated with BFRs.

7. New cars. That new car smell is BFRs and phthalates, in plastics and seating.

8. Baby bottles made from polycarbonate contain bisphenol-A.

9. Garden pesticides, insecticides and woodworm treatments.

10. Electronics. BFRs are added to many TVs, computers and the like.
