The Arts Club party got London's Frieze Art Fair off to a flying start on Wednesday night, with the help of passion fruit martinis and a DJ set from Boy George.

Artists, actors and designers were in attendance at the soiree, which continued into the early hours at the Mayfair members club.

There were cheers when Boy George made his way up to the DJ deck. Dressed in his signature oversized hat and striking smoky eye make-up, he was seen grinning as he played to an overflowing dance floor.

Designer Henry Holland also hit the party, dressed in a chequered suit with a crew neck tee.

Actress Emma Rigby also attended with her friend River Hawkins, actor and founder of the charity HUMEN - a foundation centred around men’s mental health. HUMEN is releasing a docu-series about the issue starring Bill Nighy, Fleabag’s Andrew Scott and David Gandy.

Mark Francis Vandelli also hit the party. Like many of those in attendance, earlier that day he had visited the Frieze Art Fair’s VIP preview where he shared videos of pieces by artists including Tracey Emin.

Princess Alia Al-Senussi also joined the party. The Libyan royal is heavily involved in the art world and works closely with the Tate on its Tate Young Patrons programme.

The party venue was transformed with the addition of a large red and white balloon sculpture, which arced up and over the dance floor. An Instagram-ready wall at the back of the members club was also covered in greenery, twinkling lights and red peace lilies.

Other attendees included artists Philip and Charlotte Colbert, Lulu Guinness Creative Director David Hodgson and model and actor Isabella Charlotta Poppius.

The fair runs until 6th October and tickets are available to purchase here.
