Can’t be bothered with trawling eBay and can’t afford the real designer thing? London’s most stylish women are re-housing their shoes, bags, dresses, jewellery – you name it – and you have a chance to buy it.

Buy My Wardrobe is the event leading the way in the luxe-recycling revolution sweeping the fashion landscape. If you haven't heard new buzz word 'pre-loved', you will at this haute couture jumble sale.

Pop along to the 20th Century Theatre on Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill and browse some barely-worn gems from vintage Chanel handbags to Matthew Williamson frocks. Want to bag the best bargains? Book a VIP ticket and be the first to get your paws on the stalls with a champagne reception before it’s opened up to the masses. Or come down late and enter free to try your luck at finding a slashed-price last-chance number.

Not only will you be able to search for investment pieces such as Hermes classics or Louboutin heels, there will also be massage pods, manicurists and stylists on hand to help you to get the perfect look.

As well as updating your wardrobe with pre-loved (sounds so much better than second-hand) items, you can update your home too with a browse through the upcycled furniture.

Cash-strapped fashionistas, form an orderly.

Buy My Wardrobe is on Saturday 12 May at the 20 Century Theatre, 201 Westbourne Grove, W11 2QA, 12-6pm. Tickets from £5. For more information or to book tickets click here.
