Known for her ability to sell-out a dress - the Issa London piece she wore to announce her engagement to Prince William took 5 years to be restocked - last week saw Kate Middleton step out at Royal Ascot in a beautifully feminine white dress.
Designed by Alexander McQueen, the dress featured lace detailing and a knee-length hemline, with a more flared skirt than we're used to seeing the Duchess of Cambridge wearing.
Predictably, the dress has sparked several high street look-alike versions.
Online brand JD Williams has seen the sales of lace dresses more than double compared to this time last year, with a spike in particular in the white lace region.
Their own version of the Duchess's dress, a £50 calf-length piece with fluted sleeves, is apparently a 'stand-out best seller', with sales up a third this week alone.
