February might be famous for Valentine’s Day, but there’s a much more important date in the calendar that you really should know about.

This week, the Westminster Dog Show went to New York, along with hundreds of dogs, doting owners and suitcase upon suitcase of grooming products.

Adorable pooches from across the globe arrived to be primped, preened and paraded in front of the judges while they pull their best ‘yes, I am a good boy’ face.

Rumor the German Shepherd took home the coveted Best in Show trophy at the arena in Madison Square Gardens, beating off stiff competition from the other 2,908 entrants.

Of course, there were many adorable doggies to look at on the day, but we’ve taken the hard task of picking our our favourite ones for you - from slobbering gentle giants to tiny balls of fluff.
