If you take the Tube every day, you’ll know that your local line has its own endearing, and often irritating, traits.

But what if London's Underground lines were people? And what if they all hung out at a party?

Well, wonder no more, because a group of comedians have taken to Facebook to parody the scene in a four minute spoof.

Meet the Tube lines as people

Muriel’s Comedy have taken the social media platform by storm with their ‘If Tube Lines Were People’ sketch, which has amassed over 500,000 views.

There’s the blundering Bakerloo and District lines - an elderly couple who reminisce about life ‘back in their day’ - and the highly-annoying Circle line, who talks rather speedily in circles.

The bubbly, blonde Central line is in the midst of trying to get over a brief tryst with the silver fox Jubilee line while the Metropolitan line is the first to panic about getting back to Zone 6 before everyone else.

Meanwhile, everyone at the party is trying to avoid the DLR, who's basically a creepy robot trying to pretend to be a person - a nod to the line's driverless trains.

And of course, the Overground is the first to get bored of the party and slope off to Shoreditch House. Typical.
