London style hotspot: Bar Boulud, 66 Knightsbridge, SW1

Acclaimed chef Daniel Boulud brings a slice of Lyon to London for a fabulously French dining experience
Fabulously French: We love the French feel of this Knightsbridge eatery
16 June 2014

The look: Fabulously French. Interiors offer a take on the craft of winemaking, with an open kitchen and zinc-topped bar. Statement ceiling features and sleek furnishings make for a sophisticated dining experience.

Who's behind it? Acclaimed chef Daniel Boulud bought the restaurant to London from New York.

What should I try? There is a different menu for each day of the week but food typically includes traditional French dishes like Moules à la Crème (Mussels with Crème Fraîche) and Truite aux Amandes (Rainbow Trout with Almonds). Superb quality food and drink make this restaurant an absolute must.

Go there if: You want to experience the rustic charm of a Lyonnais restaurant. Perfect for an intimate dinner, business lunch or catch-up with friends.

Cheque out: The Bouchon menu offers 2 courses for £17 or 3 courses at £19 including a glass of house white and coffee per head.

How do I book: Call 020 7201 3899 or visit barboulud.com/london
