The Drop Off: new app delivers ready-made dinner party to your door
A pair of London entrepreneurs have developed an app that delivers a ready-made dinner party to your doorstep, including wine, flowers and a playlist.
The Drop Off offers seasonal dishes such as smoked duck with walnut and bone marrow mash. Customers can have their dinner party delivered anywhere within the M25 within a day of placing an order.
The app is the brainchild of Nicole Richardson, who has catered for David Cameron, and Sheine Alexander, an events organiser.
Ms Richardson said the pair want to make events catering less exclusive. “Perhaps we catered at your wedding and you want another reason to eat our food,” she added.
Customers can also buy place settings, decorations and cocktails including Negronis and Manhattans.
The Drop Off is available free from December 10. Dinners cost £49 per person for three courses. Find out more information at hunter8hunter.london
