Calling all beer fans: a London brewery wants to pay you to drink beer all day.
Meantime Brewing Company in Greenwich is recruiting a part-time professional beer taster, and applications have just opened.
In a job ad posted on LinkedIn, the brewer said it’s looking for “a passionate beer lover” with taste buds that match.
It’s the company behind modern beer staples London Lager, London Pale Ale and Yakima Red.
“Yes, this could just be the best job in the world,” says the ad.
The application process is pretty simple: candidates need to write a 30-word post about why they should get the gig. Videos and photos are also welcome.

It’s not for amateurs – you’ll need an “understanding of global consumer markets” if you want to be in with a chance.
The chosen beer expert will join a panel of brewers to discuss the beers they drink and give their opinions.
The catch? It’s only three hours of work a week – not quite all-day drinking. But apparently the salary is “competitive”, and you’ll be based at the brewery itself.
