The Crush: Paris Hilton

The socialite puts the 'oo' in spooky
‘Don’t be boring, and dress cute’: Paris Hilton

Crush has long had a soft spot for billionaire heiress and ‘business woman’ Paris Hilton, who practically birthed constructed reality TV and made the catchphrase ‘That’s hot’ happen for a while. Her journey from OMG to FML is mainly thanks to having been usurped from the famous-for-being-famous throne by Kim and her Kardashians. But we miss Ms Hilton’s glossy ubiquity and insightful pronouncements — Crush still adheres to her rule for life: ‘Don’t be boring, and dress cute.’

And if there’s one time of year when we remember that we’ll always have Paris, it’s now, because no celebrity does Halloween better. Already this year the socialite has debuted her ‘sexy Minnie Mouse’ costume, heralding the start of her minimum of six annual outfits. In 2013 Paris wowed Hollywood with, among other ensembles, a ‘sexy cheetah’, a ‘sexy fairy’, a ‘sexy warrior’, a ‘sexy ballerina’, a ‘sexy mermaid’… and ‘Miley Cyrus at the VMAs’.

Crush admires a gal who can stick to a theme. Last year some celebs soo didn’t get the memo. Heidi Klum dressed as an actual old person, which was, like, majorly ew. We much prefer Paris’ risqué take on spooky — and so tonight Crush is going meta and dressing up as a sexy Paris Hilton dressing up as a sexy Miley Cyrus. Now that’s hot.
