Exhausted the seven wonders of the world?

Fear not, because UNESCO has just added seven more World Heritage Sites to its portfolio - and they’re just as stunning as its most famous locations.

During a ten day gathering in Istanbul this month, the organization reviewed several sites for World Heritage approval.

The latest additions to the list encompass spots in Spain and Greece as well as others in Turkey, China and Micronesia.

You’ve probably heard of the infamous Great Barrier Reef or the glorious Machu Picchu in Peru but what about the magical ruins of Philippi in Greece, or the breathtakingly stunning Nalanda Mahavihara in India?

Our advice? Start booking now, because it won’t be long before you’ll have to elbow your way through hordes of tourists to get close to these natural and manmade wonders.
