Barking car left upside down on its roof after dramatic collision

A car had to be flipped back over onto its wheels by fire crews today after a dramatic east London crash left the vehicle lying on its roof.

The accident happened in Mallards Way, Barking, when two cars collided shortly before 3pm this afternoon.

Barking and Dagenham police tweeted images of the Renault, including a video of the fire brigade using pulleys to flip it back over.

Met Police

A spokesman for the Met Police said they had been called by the London Ambulance Service at 2.52pm following reports of a collision between two cars.

They said: "One of the vehicles was reported to have overturned.

“A man was taken by the London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital.

“His injuries were not life-threatening.”
