Police are hunting for a man wanted in connection with criminal damage at a north London bookmakers

Scotland Yard today released CCTV footage showing a man smashing up a betting shop in Waltham Forest after losing £80 in a gaming machine.

Staff at teh Coral bookmakers in Wood Street, Walthamstow, spoke to a customer about his rude beahviour at around 21:00 on February 5.

The man became angry after staff at the Coral shop refused to give him a drink, according to Metropolitan Police.

Captured on the shop's CCTV system, the video shows the man attempting to smash the front window with a chair and kicking the glass door panel.

It is believed he had just lost £80 on a gaming machine in the shop.

The suspect is described as white and wearing navy tracksuit trousers and a blue and grey hooded tracksuit top.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Waltham Forest police on 101 quoting reference 4902477/15, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
