Clapham Road stabbing: Boy, 16, fighting for life after knife attack

A 16-year-old boy has been critically injured in a knife attack in south London.

The teenager was stabbed on Tuesday afternoon at about 3.30pm in Clapham Road, Oval.

The boy remained in hospital in a critical but stable condition this morning, the Metropolitan Police said.

A spokeswoman said: “We were called to a stabbing and found a 16-year-old boy suffering stab injuries. Enquiries continue.”

The attack happened near the junction with Albert Square, about 500 metres from Oval Tube station.

Police said no arrests have been made and appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
